Mega Man 11 release date and Amiibo, Pokemon Let's Go, Team Sonic Racing go tleaked, Paul Rudd is Chris Thorndike...
Going in order I guess, Mega Man 11 looks pretty sweet. Meg man's getting another Amiibo for the game, based off of his design for the game. Release date seems to be in that sweet spot of early October, so early enough to justify buying it as not a Christmas gift. The game obviously looks pretty sweet and this is the second time a game's artstyle looked so good that I actually thought it as all 2D HD sprites and not 3D models. As a result, when this game comes out, someone needs to port him to SFM, because I love this Mega Man design so much. Story seems kinda cheesy, but pretty good, and the voice acting's pretty good too. Not expecting much for the story, personally, though, no expecting nothing. Double Gear looks pretty simple, but probably pretty fun. And I love the robot master's designs.
Pokemon Let's go on the other hand... I'm glad they announced another pokemon title next year, because I would've been so mad if this was the only thing we knew about the future of the franchise. Blatant Gen 1 pandering, and a lot of Go mechanics... But co-operative Pokemon mode allowing us to literally having double battles in the main game, and pokemon following you is amazing. I hope that Gen 8 takes these parts of these games into consideration, because that would be amazing. Version differences are literally just 'your starter's an eevee or a pikachu.' Which obviously means Eevee will be picked, because even if you can't choose any of the other, better eeveelutions, having one of the original three is better then just a Raichu right? Wait, what's that? Eevee can't evolve, just like Pikachu? Okay... Super mixed reaction, but if they just take the positives into Gen 8 and leave Go in the dust, I'll be fine.
Team Sonic Racing got leaked too, apparently. I've never been one for the car racing spin offs, so I'm not too interested. That being said, apparently Sega All-stars racing Transformed was really good, and this is being made by the same developer. I might give it a shot, but Mania+ is a more important game for me right now. I just kinda want another mainline 3D Sonic game, just to see if they decide to try and go forwards or regress at all.
Also, Paul Rudd is also Christopher Thorndike. this is literally the thing I was worried about with the movie, a human protagonist that takes away form the main character. Welp. There hasn't been a good live-action video game movie yet, and it looks like there still won't be. Except for maybe that Detective Pikachu idea. That's like, the only thing I can actually see working if you get the right guys in charge.
